Celine Will Show Fall 2023 Collection Next Month In California
CALIFORNIA, USA — French luxury brand Celine is a bit late unveiling its spring 2023 collection, but artistic, creative and image director Hedi Slimane will be early showing his fall 2023 collection, more than two months before fashion weeks for that season kick off in New York, London, Milan and Paris.
Slimane and Celine are planning a fashion show in Los Angeles, California, on Dec. 8 to unveil the fall 2023 collection.
Meanwhile, the spring 2023 collection will be showcased as a film, to be streamed on Celine’s website and social platforms sometime during November — more than a month after Paris Fashion Week wrapped nearly a month of spring 2023 showings.
At the time of this post, Celine did not disclose an exact location for the Los Angeles runway event.
In 2018, LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton SE. named Slimane Celine‘s artistic, creative and image director (see it here).
He dropped the accent in the label’s name and reoriented the brand toward retro-tinged, bourgeois French chic. He also lead the brand into menswear, fragrances, beachwear, made-to-order crocodile handbags — and even pet accessories.
