UNITED STATESBoston, MA-based sportswear company New Balance just dropped its 2002R Protection Pack on HBX with two new colorways.

Conceptualized by NB designer Yue Wu, the pack first introduced last year reimagines the 2002R model, also dubbed “dad shoes.” The retro running styles are updated with deconstructed details, including layered, rugged suede overlays dressed in weathered colors. Rounding out the design are mesh underlays and two-tone midsoles fitted with the N-ERGY cushioning and shock absorption technology.

The “Mirage Grey” edition features NB’s signature gray color scheme contrasted by the tongue, “N” logo, and midsole in off-white. The “Dark Navy” version is dominated by the brand’s classic dark blue tones accented by gray laces and heels.

The New Balance 2002R Protection PackMirage Grey” and “Dark Navy” are now up for raffle online from HBX at the time of this post and are priced at $170.
