Teyana Taylor Is The First Black Woman To Be Named Maxim’s “Sexiest Woman Alive”

NEW YORK, UNITED STATES — Multi-talented actress, model, choreographer and singer-songwriter Teyana Taylor was named Maxim magazine’s “Sexiest Woman Alive“, becoming the first Black woman to be named No. 1 on the annual list.

“I’ve followed Maxim for a long time and I’ve always felt like I should be on the cover,” she tells the publication from her home. “So to actually get the call saying they want me on the cover really meant a lot. I was like, what? They want me on the cover? Okay!”
