Nike SB Dunk High “Strawberry Cough”
BEAVERTON, OREGON — American multinational corporation Nike, Inc. released its Nike SB Dunk High “Strawberry Cough” sneakers.
The Todd Bratrud-designed style has received its most detailed look yet. Continuing Bratrud’s penchant for cheeky, cannabis-themed kicks, the “Strawberry Cough” draws its name and overall inspiration from a potent fruit flavored strain.
A tale of two parts, the “Strawberry Cough” boasts mudguards, toeboxes, eyestays and quarter panels done up in striking red leather, all of which — save for the smooth toebox — are covered with seed-like dots. Meanwhile, heels, collars and Swooshes take on a shaggy green suede. The shoe’s signature detail arrives on the lateral heel: a coughing strawberry that presents the design’s moniker in a physical sense. White tongues with red SB branding and see-through midsoles/outsoles that encase final touches of red and green round off the look.
The Nike SB Dunk High “Strawberry Cough” is tentatively scheduled to hit SB stockists this fall, but select sizes are available now at Stadium Goods.
