Spring 2020 Jacket: Louis Vuitton Multicolor Monogram Windbreaker

PARIS, FRANCE — LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton SE just released a new Louis Vuitton Multicolor Monogram Windbreaker, priced at $2,900 USD. The jacket was designer by Virgil Abloh, the menswear artistic director (see it here) and his team.

Previewed earlier with its SS20 Taïgarama collection, this lightweight piece offers a colorful, large-scale take on the Louis Vuitton Monogram, created using the Ikat dyeing technique. It is tailored in a regular fit from water repellent fabric, with zipped front pockets and Monogram hook-and-loop details on the cuffs. Combined with the revisited Monogram, the traditional Ikat technique creates a strikingly modern effect.
