Rihanna Will Present A Savage x Fenty Runway Show At New York Fashion Week
NEW YORK, UNITED STATES — Rihanna just made New York Fashion Week hotter! After taking a season off from NYFW, everyone’s favorite singer turned fashion impresario is officially returning to the NYFW schedule.
The multi-platinum international recording artist will stage an “immersive experience” for her Savage x Fenty lingerie collection Sept. 12 at 7:30 p.m. in Brooklyn. In that time slot, after the Marc Jacobs show at 6 p.m., Rihanna is effectively closing out New York Fashion Week. Last March 2018, DM Fashion Book reported that Riri inked a deal with El Segundo, Calif.-based TechStyle Fashion Group for a lingerie line (see it here).
The collection she presents next month will be fall 2018 and will be immediately available for purchase at Savagex.com, as well as a New York pop-up, followed by a Mall of America pop-up and two additional cities in the fall.
