Balenciaga Fall 2017 Menswear.

PARIS — The forever changing fashion calendar keeps getting messier. In the latest change, Balenciaga will combine men’s and women’s runway collections for Paris Fashion Week.

The luxury house’s Creative Director Demna Gvasalia announced that the brand will show its men’s and women’s collections starting with the autumn/winter 2018/2019 season and present them in the same runway show in March during Paris Fashion Week. The brand will also show a pre-collection of menswear at the upcoming Men’s Fashion Week in Paris in January 2018 instead of their usual full collection.

Gvasalia just relaunched Balenciaga‘s menswear business last June, and has so far shown three collections as part of Men’s Fashion Week in Paris.

The Kering – owned brand will be following in the footsteps of Kenzo (see it here), Public School (see it here) Gucci (see it here), and Burberry (see it here) by combining men’s and women’s collections on one runway during fashion week.
