College you attended: I graduated from Delaware State University last May. I am currently enrolled in Trinity in Washington D.C.

What degree do you have and working toward receiving: I have my B.A. in Mass Communications with a concentration in TV, Radio & Film also with a minor in Psychology. I am currently working on getting my Masters Degree in Strategic Communications & Public Relations.

What inspired you to get into modeling: The first time I was introduced to modeling was at the age of 13. I was always told that I had the “look”. I was very undecided at first so I really didn’t put as much energy into it. However, after I did my first photo shoot I felt at home. The camera was like a spotlight that I did not want to leave. I began studying the craft by watching YouTube videos, ANTM (America’s Next Top Model) was very big at the time so I took what I was watching from the show and tried to incorporate it into my own style. My biggest inspiration was to see the finished product and I would be so amazed. My reaction in my head would always be “Wow this is really me” It keeps me motivated and inspired to keep working.

What models are you inspired by: Tyson Beckford, Sam Lane & Naomi Campbell

Have any agencies reached out to you yet: Not as of yet.

What are you doing to get scouted: To get scouted I travel to NYC for Open Calls and Go-Sees. I keep myself up to date with all the latest trends in the fashion industry. I brand myself to best of my ability by going to networking mixers. The most important thing I do is constantly have work: Photoshoots, I try to keep myself in front of a camera as much as possible to perfect my craft.

Favorite things to do in your hometown: My favorite things to do are go sightseeing, go to the studio, and go to different restaurants. When I am not apart of them, I love attending fashion shows.

What’s the best thing about your hometown: The best thing about my hometown is that the fashion world is really evolving in Philadelphia, more opportunities are becoming available to get your name and face out there in the industry.

What are you listening to at the moment: “Loved By You” by Kirby.

Favorite movie, tv show: Waiting To Exhale and How To Get Away With Murder.

Favorite designer fragrance or beauty product: Olympea by Paco Rabanne.

Favorite modeling experience so far: My favorite modeling experience thus far had to be when I did a photo shoot in the snow. It may not have been a big shoot or career breaking experience but I love the snow and the scenery it creates and I had so much fun on set and the photos came out amazing. It was by far one of the most down to earth and fun modeling experiences I had thus far.

Which brand would you really love to model for: I would really love to model for Giorgio Armani.

Any publications you would really love to be featured in: The ideal publication I love to be featured in would be GQ magazine.

Have you had any modeling gigs far: Yes, I have, I’ve had done runway shows and commercial photo shoots for different brands.

Do you prefer print or runway modeling: I would prefer print.

Thoughts on social models (models with large social media followers): Personally I believe that just because you have a big social media following does not make you a good model, there are some really talented models who put a lot of work in who tend to get overlooked just based on their following. However, technology has become the way of the world and social media has become apart of our everyday life so I do understand the importance of having to keep up with how things are currently being done and having a large social media following is what some agencies are looking for.

Place you would love to visit: I would love to visit Paris.

Favorite fashion magazines: Vogue, GQ, Allure, and Flaunt.

Favorite website:

Favorite fashion brands: Balmain, Zara, Chanel, and Fendi.

Favorite brand of sneakers: My favorite brand of sneakers is Nike.

Favorite creative directors: Olivier Rousteing, Karl Lagerfeld, Alexander Wang, Rei Kawakubo and myself.

What projects are you currently working on: I am currently working on a project for the winter entitled, “Coldest Winter Ever”. I will not say much on it but I will say it is going to be one for the books.

What’s next for you: Finishing up graduate school is a main priority of mines. Post graduation, I plan on moving to New York and along the way I plan to expand my career not only as a model but within the media and entertainment business as well. I am currently developing content for my vlog. I am also a development consultant, digital content producer, creative visionary and choreographer. I am a man with many talents, I can’t predict what the future entails on what is next for me, but I will say I know for fact success is slowly turning the corner into my life.
