Rihanna Unveils New “Crush” Fragrance1

Rihanna‘s beauty empire keeps growing! The multi-platinum singer has announced her second fragrance, Crush by Rihanna, a “mysteriously sexy” scent that includes pink rose, bergamot, mandarin, pink peppercorn, ylang-ylang, red berries, and musk notes.

Crush is the follow-up to last year’s RiRi by Rihanna Eau de Parfum.

The new scent which will be available starting in August is said to make a woman feel empowered, strong, confident and, of course, unapologetic. Rihanna designed the bottle.

The fragrance will be priced at $20 to $60 and will be available at Macy’s, and other fine retailers.

According to a press statement: “RiRi CRUSHES it with her newest fragrance – sensual woody notes pair with playful red fruits and pink musks to create an intoxicating fragrance with an undeniably fun, feminine twist. The addictive floriental opens with a vibrant splash of bergamot, juicy mandarin and vivacious pink peppercorn. At its heart, pink rose is accented with spicy ylang drizzled in the tangy sweetness of red berries for a mouthwatering signature; while creamy musk, cedarwood and sexy patchouli combine to leave a lush, lasting impression.”

In related Rihanna news, recently reported that she has partnered with Dior on a line of futuristic, reflective sunglasses. The name of the collection is simply “Rihanna” (see it here). Last month, Rihanna released three new colorways of her Creeper sneakers (see it here) and she dropped her Rihanna’s Fenty x Puma fur slides. In April, we reported that the international popstar will launch a makeup line with LVMH Moët Hennesy Louis Vuitton, called Fenty Beauty (see it here). Last March, we announced the Bajan-beauty’s collaboration with footwear maestro Manolo Blahnik (see it here).
