Earlier in the week, Opening Ceremony presented their Fall/Winter 2016 show during New York Fashion Week Men’s. This season, Opening Ceremony menswear tailored collection paid tribute to the modern man. A working man who works a regular 9-5, a businessman who sits in the boardroom and negotiates big contracts, workout man and of course, the weekend man.  The collections fuses suiting, activewear and sportswear.

Lim and Leon said they were thinking about the time frames of a man’s life when they designed this collection.

Trends: Flannel shirt, cable-knit sweater, sport coat, striped cardigan, polos and rugby shirts, bomber jackets and Chesterfileds, track pants and tees, overcoat, suit jacket in dense heater jersey, tailored dress shirts and trousers, hiking boots, sneakers and more.

Palette: pop color, striped ribbing, bright red, velour, luxe fabric, silk, mélange felted wool, panels of nylon, reversible pieces, ink blue, soft cotton, black, tobacco brown, heather grey peppered, circular zipper pulls, satin, and more.

Models: All white models walked the runway at the show. No diversity! Smh!
