Louis Vuitton Heads To Rio de Janeiro To Show Its Resort 2017 Collection

Luxury houses showing their resort collections at exotic international destinations is still trendy. In the latest news, French fashion house Louis Vuitton is heading to Rio de Janeiro to show its Resort (or cruise) 2017 collection on May 28.

The brand hosted their 2016 Resort collection in Palm Springs last May.

Gucci is cruising to London for its Resort 2017 collection and last month, we reported that Chanel will cruise to Havana, Cuba for its 2017 show (see it here).

Last month, Public School showed its Pre-Fall collection in Dubai, Max Mara showed its Resort 2016 collection in London, Chanel showed their resort (or “cruise”) 2016 collection in Seoul, respectively, last year and Dior cruised to the French Riviera. Gucci brought their Cruise 2016 show to New York City, where Alessandro Michele shut down a street block in the Chelsea neighborhood.
