Roc Nation‘s Rihanna has twenty-five million reasons to be smiling right now. The Grammy Award winning international popstar has inked a lucrative deal with South Korean electronics giant Samsung.

According to the¬†New York Post, “Samsung has reached an unprecedented $25 million deal to sponsor Rihanna‚Äôs upcoming album and tour.”

The Rihanna deal follows seven months of talks and is the biggest music-marketing tie-up in recent memory. Hammering out the details took longer than expected in part because Rihanna made some last-minute tweaks to the album,” sources said.

It is being reported that Riri will release her eighth studio album in the next few weeks (November/December). It is rumored that the album title is, Anti.

Both her manager Jay Brown and Jay Z were integral to the deal.”

Samsung wants to use Rihanna to help promote its Galaxy line of products and wants exclusive use of Rihanna-related video content to release via its Milk Music radio service,” sources said. Will¬†Jay Z‚Äôs Tidal streaming music service gain any exclusivity given that Rihanna is a backer?

In the past, Jay Z inked a¬†$5 million marketing deal with Samsung for the release of his¬†2013’s Magna Carta Holy Grail album. Jay Z provided Samsung 1 million copies of the album to be downloaded on the company‚Äôs new Galaxy SIII and other devices. NBA player LeBron James also inked a deal with Samaung.

In related Rihanna news, the Bajan beauty alongside The Weeknd and Selena Gomez are this year’s Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show musical guests (see it here). The show will be filmed in New York City, and will air December 8 on CBSat 10 p.m. Riri has also been tapped by French film maker Luc Besson to appear in the upcoming movie, Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets.
