Gucci Spring 2016 RTW1

Earlier today Wednesday (September 23), Alessandro Michele presented his Women‘s Spring 2016 collection for Gucci during Milan Fashion Week. The presentation took place in a greenhouse-like industrial space.

The show featured a total of 62-looks and stayed true to the house’s new aesthetic under the new creative director.

When Michele was appointed Gucci‘s creative director earlier this year, I was unsure on how it would affect the house, but after seeing this collection, I totally believe that he proven himself to be the new King of the Italian house.

The house looks like it is aiming for a middle-aged and working demographic with its vintage-inspired pieces. Oversized dress, floral skirts, ruffled tops, nylon knee-high stockings, three-quarter sleeved coat with mink cuffs, ruffled dresses, loafers, printed skirt and pants suits and luxury blouses are just a few of the pieces from Gucci‘s Women‘s 2016 collection.
