Louis Vuitton chose filmmaker Xavier Dolan to be the face of its fall men’s campaign.

Photographer Alasdair McLellan shot the campaign for the luxury French house which will break in October magazines – Esquire in the U.K. and spotlight the new leather goods range Ombre.

The print ads point to an online video interview with Dolan that is to launch shortly on louisvuitton.com.

Dolan is no stranger to luxury fashion. He sat front row at the Chanel and Lanvin shows in Paris. He is most known for his 2009 directorial debut, I Killed My Mother, and the 2014 Jury Prize winner (Cannes Film Festival) Mommy.

His next film, a screen adaptation of Jean-Luc Lagarce’s play Juste la fin du Monde, or It’s Only the End of the World, stars Marion Cotillard, Gaspard Ulliel, Vincent Cassel, Léa Seydoux and Nathalie Baye.
