Prabal Gurung’s Fall 2015 Campaign Starring Caroline Trentini
After nabbing Joan Smalls for his his Spring 2015 Ad Campaign, Nepalese American fashion designer Prabal Gurung chose Caroline Trentini as the face of his Fall 2015 Ad Campaign. The ad debuted on Style.com.
Gurung said, “For the Fall 2015 campaign, I wanted to revert back to the roots of the brand’s DNA: embracing American sportswear with a glamorous edge.”
The country towns of northern New York and the Adirondacks are Gurung‘s inspiration for the season: thigh-grazing slits and slinky beaded dresses.
“I have always loved and adored her for as long as I can remember,” Gurung said of his newest muse (Caroline Trentini). “She epitomizes the PG woman. Aside from being a successful supermodel and mother, she celebrates her femininity and carries herself with a certain level of confidence and humility in her work. She is a supermodel for a reason—she acknowledges not only herself, but everyone around her.”
Daniel Jackson lensed the shoot, with art direction by Berger & Wild.
“The images resulted in a woman who embraces her sensuality and comfort in the clothes,” Gurung says. “I loved having the opportunity to work with Caroline, a multifaceted woman of substance.”
