Iana dos Reis Nunes

Industry veteran Iana dos Reis Nunes has been tapped as Marc Jacobs‘ new Global Head Of Communications. She is Billy Daley‘s successor. Daley left the company last week. Dos Reis Nunes will start her new position Aug. 10.

She was most recently the vice president of public relations at Coach, a position she held since November 2013. Prior to Coach, Dos Reis Nunes career focused on luxury brands. She spent a year as vice president of global communications at The Row following a stint as executive director of P.R. at Chanel and she spent nine years at Louis Vuitton, where she worked her way up from a P.R. manager to P.R. relations director.

This new move marks Dos Reis Nunes return to the LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton fold and reunites her with Jacobs.

Last March, donbleek.com reported that Marc Jacobs‘ Marc by Marc Jacobs label will be discontinued, and that collection will be folded into the primary Marc Jacobs line (read it here).

WWD reports “The house is also deepening its p.r. and marketing staffs, and will soon add heads of events and celebrity, according to sources.”
