Fashion journalist Eva Chen became the Editor-In-Chief of Lucky magazine in June 2013. After nearly two year at the publication, Chen is about to make her departure.

Today Thursday (April 30), Chen took to her official Twitter and announced her departure in a series of Tweets.

According to Women’s Wear Daily, “Multiple sources have indicated that the magazine is going all digital, and that several investors in Silicon Valley have been interested in an acquisition of the company. Chen was spotted having lunch with CondĂ© Nast president Bob Sauerberg in the building’s cafeteria Tuesday. It could not be determined whether Chen would remain at CondĂ© Nast. Sources indicated that Lucky Group president Gillian Gorman Round will likely be dismissed.”

Last February, donbleek.com reported, the publication has let go at least 10 members of its team, including Executive Fashion Director Alexis Bryan Morgan, Senior Credits Editor Joane Amay and Production Director Donna Sollecito, according to various sources.”

Last summer, Lucky was spun off in a joint venture between Condé Nast and e-commerce firm Beachmint Group. The shopping site, LuckyShops.com, debuted in early February.

Stay tuned for more details on Chen‘s next move (and successor).
