Rita Ora does it all! She’s a pop singer, designer (she has a collaboration with adidas) and model (she posed for DKNY and walked the runway for Moschino).

Teen Vogue recently caught up with Ora, where she discussed her latest collection with adidas Originals (set to hit stores May 1),

Where did your inspiration begin [Don Bleek’s note: referring to Ora’s collection for adidas]?

We went to Shanghai, Seoul, and Tokyo, so I was really inspired by that trip. I didn’t really know how into fashion everyone is over there. They are very daring with their choices. I just wanted to be a part of that and I found it really inspirational. A lot of the time in London and New York and other places, it’s the complete opposite. I thought this was a great opportunity for me to do something and create something that I haven’t seen before.”

Teen Vogue: Did you pick up any fashion tips there that you still integrate?

Yeah! I’m quite a tomboy so I wear a lot of loose fitting, boxier cuts that are sort of defined by sports, American culture, and street wear. I wanted to keep those influences that I grew up wearing, but overlay them with these Asian patterns, colors, and symbols. I thought that contrast was amazing.”
