A change could soon be coming to DKNY.

It is being reported that the LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton-owned label is in search for a person to head the design team at the label.

According to Women’s Wear Daily, “Caroline Brown, chief executive officer of Donna Karan International, is said to be tapping into the young designer market to come up with a candidate for the role. Public School, Prabal Gurung and Andrea Lieberman, designer of A.L.C., are among the names that have been bandied about. Lieberman had no comment, as did Gurung and a spokeswoman for DKI. Asked whether he was considering the position, Maxwell Osborne, design partners with Dao-Yi Chow in Public School, said, “not at this moment,” adding that they have enough going on with their own line. Jane Chung is the longtime executive vice president of design at DKNY.”
