A look from Foofi.

Last night Monday (March 16), former reality star turned socialite, fashionisa and rising fashion mogul Angela Simmons hosted her Foofi by Angela Simmons launched collection.

The entrepreneuress took over Gansevoort Meatpacking‘s rooftop in Manhattan for her own line of faux fur clothing and accessories. Foofi is named after her beloved toy poodle.

Ang is no stranger to the fashion industry, she’s the woman behind the e-Commerce, ShopAngelaIam and the Queens-native also launched a line of footwear called Pastry with her older sister Vanessa back in 2011.

According to Women’s Wear Daily, “The 23-piece collection includes outerwear, vests, hoodies and accessories made from acrylic and polyester faux fur blends sourced in China. Done in a colorful palette and finished with a floral-printed lining, the pieces range from $150 to $495 and will be sold primarily through e-commerce.”

Simmons is a vegetarian and supporter of PETA; she even posed for the American animal rights organization. She said that she stopped wearing fur years ago after researching the way animals were treated: “It’s for the New York City girl on-the-go; chic but playful and fun,” she said. “Something that can bring you to work, play, evening. My mother could wear it, going down to my younger sister… I made sure there was something for everybody.”
