Puma and New York-based DJ and fashion designer Vashtie Kola presented their collaborative Spring/Summer 2015 Capsule collection at Manhattan‘s Webster Hall in East Village earlier in the week.

The official lookbook has been released. The collection takes inspiration from the NYC B-boy culture, Hip-Hop era, graffiti movement, and break dancing of the 1980’s and ’90s.

The collection of unisex items—ranging from mesh tanks and gilded sweatshirts to track pants and sneakers—pays homage to this iconic era as well as nodding to Vashtie’s affinity for bright, standout designs.

“When PUMA reached out I was immediately interested in this collaboration as I grew up following the brand,” she said. “As a child I was drawn toward skate boarding and alternative music and looked to PUMA for fashion trends. I’m excited to create this collection that pays homage to my childhood and New York’s underground scene. ”

The collection will be available at select Puma premium stores beginning tomorrow Saturday (March 1). Below and on the next few pages are images from the lookbook.
