Russell Westbrook For The Brand's Spring Summer 2015 Ad Campaign 2

Last week, we’ve reported that NBA player and fashion trendsetter Russell Westbrook has been chosen to front True Religion‘s Spring/Summer 2015 Ad Campaign.

This is not the Oklahoma City Thunder player’s first dip into fashion. Last year, he collaborated with Barneys on an XO Exclusively Our collection of 16 pieces (hats, shoes, bags and sunglasses in bold patterns, colors and at a high-end price tag) which were all designed by Westbrook himself.

A fashion line, fronting a campaign and sitting front row at fashion shows just isn’t enough for the stylist baller. He’s always looking for more to do; he’s as Renaissance man.

Westbrook “is now serving as the campaign creative director at True Religion. Luckily for Westbrook, his new duties as a denim spokesperson will perfectly align with his NBA responsibilities during New York Fashion Week this season. In between playing in the NBA All-Star game at Barclays Center on February 15, Westbrook will pop by the True Religion store (conveniently located across the street from Barclays) on February 14 and star in a TV spot that will air during broadcasts of All-Star events and at Madison Square Garden.”
