Expansion plans of the Swedish retail-clothing company H & M Hennes & Mauritz AB (H&M) include opening 400 stores by next December. The affordable retailer has already opened 379 new stores in 2014. That will put the store’s count close to 4,000 worldwide.

Speaking of 2014, last year, H&M did quite well.

Earlier this morning, the retailer announced “that its full year sales for fiscal 2014 — which ran from Dec. 1, 2013 to Nov. 30, 2014 — rose 14 percent, with sales in the final three months rising 11 percent. Full-year profit came in at 19.98 billion kronor, roughly $2.4 billion.”

In addition to opening 400 more stores, the fast fashion retailer is planning to launch a new H&M Beauty range online and in 40 markets next fall to replace the cosmetics its currently sells.
