With the New Year comes a new sneaker from iconic NBA player Kobe Bryant.

The What the Kobe 9 will arrive at select Nike retailers and on Nike.com on January 10.

“The Flyknit combination used on the shoes leans lighter than anything we’ve seen on past releases. Particularly interesting with respect to the mashup approach here is the inside tongue tag on the model, which features a variety of the nickname badges all plastered on top of each other. The lining on the inside also ports prints over from past Kobe 9 releases,” Sole Collector.
