This came out of nowhere! Roc Nation‘s J.Cole announced that he will release his junior album, 2014 Forest Hills Drive on December 9.

The Fayetteville-native and St. John’s University alumni is going against the grain by releasing the album without a single or visual. Below is a statement from Jermaine:

What up? My New Album is finished. It’s called 2014 Forest Hills Drive and it’s very special to me,” says Cole, who also released a 7-minute visual announcement of his new album. “It’s available everywhere on 12/9. This time I’m releasing no singles, just the album. See you in 3 weeks. Thank you for the love and support.”

The album is available now for pre-order on iTunes, and will consist of 13 new tracks.
