Is Angela Simmons On The Way To Becoming A Fashion Icon?

Angela Simmons already sits in the driver’s sit of a burgeoning empire which includes the online boutique, ShopAngelaIam, lifestyle blog, AngelaIam.com, and a ‘Foofi‘ faux fur line. She covered and appeared in various publications including Vibe Vixen, Uptown, Rolling Out, Pynk, Fearless and more.

During New York Fashion Week, Ang sat front row at some of the most luxurious shows such as the Vivienne Tam show, Charlotte Ronson show, Alice + Olivia by Stacey Bendet show, Olcay Gulsen show and Rebecca Minkoff show. 

Ang also hosted her ‘Monsters Presents Electric Daze: A Presentation by Angela I Am‘ show during Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Fall 2014 (see it here).

With a resume like that, she is well on the way to becoming a fashion icon in my eyes. Style.com defines a Fashion Icon as some who has “affected the way other women dress.” Ang has definitely affected the way other women dress.

Her style has evolved since she was introduced to us as Rev Run‘s daughter on MTV‘s reality series Run’s House.
