Show Review: Resort 2015 Opening Ceremony

Opening Ceremony is the first brand that I saw that is not focusing on “minimalist” for their Resort 2015 collection. In fact, they’re focusing on the complete opposite. When I was a teenager, I always said “more is better and more is the best,” but that changed once I reached my 20’s. I then started looking for minimalist brands and pieces.

However, Carol Lim and Humberto Leon chose to focus on more for OC’s Resort 2015 collection. Mixed prints, floral designs, choppy patterns, stripes and a lot of colors is what best describes the brand’s Resort 2015 collection which features pleated miniskirts, skinny jeans, ankle wrap sandals, jackets, blazers, short shorts, pants, dress tops, turtleneck and more.

At their show, OC brought the runway to the street by having their models glide down Howard Street in the season’s assortment from their office to their store where the presentation was staged. See the collection below:
