
Her Reign Isn’t Slowing Down Anytime Soon! Lupita Nyong’o Added To ‘Star Wars: Episode VII’ Cast
Oscar Award winning actress Lupita Nyong’o isn’t slowing down anytime soon. The Kenyan beauty has been added to the cast of Star Wars: VII. Gwendoline Christie was also just added to the film which is slated to hit theaters December 18, 2015. J.J. Abrams sits in the director’s seat!
According to a press release, “Actors John Boyega, Daisy Ridley, Adam Driver, Oscar Isaac, Andy Serkis, Domhnall Gleeson, and Max von Sydow will join the original stars of the Saga Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher, Mark Hamill, Anthony Daniels, Peter Mayhew, and Kenny Baker in the new film“.
“I could not be more excited about Lupita and Gwendoline joining the cast of Episode VII,” says Lucasfilm president Kathleen Kennedy. “It’s thrilling to see this extraordinarily talented ensemble taking shape.”
I am really happy for Lupita! She has come a long way. Lupita sure is capitalizing off of 12 Years A Slave. I am looking forward to seeing this film, are you?
