Music artist and rapper Kid Cudi took to Twitter and announced that he’s writing and directing a short film for “Balmain Jeans,” which originally appears on his latest offering, Satellite Flight. He described the film as “a story spontaneous electric connection between two strangers”.

Last week, Borderline Films announced that rapper Kid Cudi is scoring the upcoming film, James White, which Cudi also has a starring role in it. This marks Cudi‘s first foray in feature film scoring.

James White stars Christopher Abbott (Girls) as the main character, who is “struggling to take control of his reckless, self-destructive behavior in the face of momentous family challenges“. Cynthia Nixon (Sex and the City) and Ron Livingston (Office Space) will also appear. Stay tuned to donbleek.com for an official release date.

June 2015, Cudi will appear in the upcoming Entourage movie.
