NBA player Damian Lillard of the Portland Trail Blazers just linked a lucrative contract extension with adidas. It is being reported that the new deal is worth $100 million over 10 years. It is also said to be one of the richest ever given to a professional basketball player.

After signing his new deal, the NBA¬†point guard who was unanimously named the 2012-13¬†NBA Rookie of the Year¬†shared his excitement on Instagram. “Happy to be a member of the¬†@adidashoops¬†family for years to come!¬†#ThreeStripeLife¬†#Teamadidas“.

The 23-year-old Oakland-native became the first player in NBA history to take part in five events during the 2014 All-Star festivities: The BBVA Rising Star Challenge, Taco Bell Skills Challenge, Foot Locker Three-Point Contest, Sprite Slam Dunk Contest and the All-Star game.
