Last month, yours truly reported that VH1 canceled Queen Latifah‘s scripted series Single Ladies after three successful seasons. No explanation was given on why the network decided to pull the plug on the show.

However, Single Ladies is back like they never left. BET‘s Centric has greenlighted a fourth season of the series.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, “The music- and entertainment-themed cable network has inked Queen Latifah and Shakim Compere‘s Flavor Unit Entertainment — which produces Single Ladies — to a new co-production deal that includes a fourth season of the dramedy. BET Networks will develop and launch the all-new fourth season of the series about three best friends with different philosophies on love, sex and relationships“.

We are thrilled to be working once again with Flavor Unit Entertainment and Queen Latifah. She does it all and we are happy to have her join us as a creative force as we continue to grow Centric into a premiere destination for African-American women. We couldn’t be more excited about what’s ahead,” BET Networks chairman and CEO Debra L. Lee said.

Are you excited and would you be tuning in?
