A good kid, from a m.A.A.d city (Compton), to the cover of GQ magazine. The fashion publication releases its “Man Of The Year” issue and platinum selling BET Award winning rapper Kendrick Lamar makes his debut and was named “Rapper of the Year“.

On the cover, K. Dot is holding a microphone and looks dapper in a suit. Matthew McConaughey, Justin Timberlake and Will Ferrell are also featured in this issue. Available on newsstands now!

On if he’s cool with Drake:

Pretty cool,” but added: “I mean, I would be okay if we weren’t.

In his interview, K. Dot acknowledged that Drake had taken his “Control” verse as a diss, and added that Drake wasn’t a creative influence or role model:

If anything. We all peers.”
