Dominic Lord’s LA Canvas Full Spread: “Not At All What You’d Expect From A 19-Year-Old From Harlem”

Yesterday, Wednesday (September 4), I posted Dominic Lord’s official LA Canvas magazine cover. See the original post here. The LA-based publication officially released its September/October 2013 “Fashion Issue” digitally and Dom has a four-page spread. He was shot by Conan Thai and styled by Adrian Manuel. This kid is gonna pop, he’s well-dressed and very talented. His image says a lot and he’s very marketable,” said Don Bleek. Before going solo and linking up with industry music manager Steven Victor (he also manages rapper Pusha T), Dom was an early member of Harlem’s A$AP Mob. Last year, the rapper, songwriter, producer and designer released his Fashion Show EP which was co-produced by Madd Matt, Hudson Mohawke, The Neptune’s Chad Hugo and Rico Beats. The project contains Dom rapping/singing over off-tempo, up-tempo, and screwed up beats and he released some visuals in support of the EP. The visuals feature exquisite editing, cinematography, and production of a couture fashion short.
