The Queen Bee (Lil  Kim) is taking it back to her early hardcore roots! In November 1996, the Brooklyn-native released her certified double platinum debut, Hard Core, which featured the platinum selling and chart topping singles “No Time” and “Not Tonight“. Almost 17 years later, the iconic Grammy Award winning female rapper has announced that she’s releasing a new mixtape, entitled Hard Core: Back 2 Da Streetz, which borrows its title and is a sequel to her debut. For the mixtape cover art, the Notorious B.I.G.’s protegé recreates the memorable Hard Core artwork. For the cover of Kim’s landmark album, she wore a sheer lingerie as she posed over a white tiger, a fireplace is also featured in the background with champagne and dozens of roses. On the upcoming mixtape, Kim is not featured on the cover art. A white tiger, a lot of money, and bottles of Ciroc is featured on the cover. The fireplace and roses remains!

It is also being reported that Kim’s forthcoming LP is in the final stages of being completed and it is scheduled to be released later this year or the top of 2014. Two weeks ago, Kim released her new track, “Look Like Money” and she already filmed the visual with Kimbella from Love & Hip Hop. Next year, Kim is also set to release her long-delayed book, Price Of Loyalty. The book is based on her time served in prison.

Are you excited to see Kim making a comeback?
