Prominent Label Def Jam Honors Rihanna For Selling Over 100 Million Albums Worldwide

Multi-platinum pop recording artist Rihanna is shining like her latest single “Diamonds”. The other day, the Barbadian singer was awarded by prominent Hip-Hop label Def Jam, for reaching the 100 million mark. In seven short years, Riri has sold over 100 million albums worldwide. The plaque displayed each of her six albums, which have collectively sold more than 25 million worldwide. Riri also has 11 hits that reached #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 under her belt and sold more than 60 million digital singles worldwide. Unapologetic arrives on November 19. The standard edition contains 14 tracks while the deluxe comes with 3 tracks songs in addition to a DVD. The bonus tracks include two remixes to Riri’s chart-topping single “Diamond” and a song titled “Half Of Me”. Chris Brown, Eminem, Future & Mikky Ekko are featured on the album. Riri accepted her plaque in a 90’s inspired outfit which included a reddish sheepskin coat layered over a camo jacket, blue denim jeans and Timberland boots.
