The beautiful Eva Longoria looks flawless on the November 2012 issue of Latina Magazine.¬†Eva speaks to¬†Latina¬†about being the cochair of President¬†Barack Obama‘s reelection campaign and her mission to¬†educate¬†Latinos on the president’s policies.¬†Switching gears to her TV projects, Eva shares on her transition from in front of the camera to behind it as an executive producer behind two of TV’s most highly anticipated shows, NBC’s¬†Ready for Love¬†and Lifetime’s¬†Devious¬†Maids.

On being cochair of President Obama’s reelection campaign:

‚ÄúWhen they asked me to officially be a cochair, it was not just to put my face on something,‚ÄĚ says Longoria. ‚ÄúMy mission is to educate the public on Obama‚Äôs record, specifically with the two communities that pertain tome: women and Latinos.

On transitioning from actress to executive producer through her new production company, UnbeliEVAble Entertainment:

‚ÄúIt‚Äôs a great position to be in … I want to be the go-to person for amazing projects.‚Ä̬†

On finding the right men among hundreds for her new show Ready for Love:

On why education makes her feel powerful:

‚ÄúAs an actress, there‚Äôs a stereotype that we can‚Äôt be smart, we can‚Äôt be political, we can‚Äôt be civic-minded or engaged. We just have to stay in front of the camera and look pretty,‚ÄĚ Longoria says. ‚ÄúNo, I‚Äôm human. I can do more.‚ÄĚ
