Tomorrow Tuesday (April 3), Nicki Minaj will be releasing her sophomore album, entitled Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded, which is the follow-up to her multi platinum-selling debut album Pink Friday. Over this past weekend, the disc was released in the UK and it has already took the #8 spot on iTunes. Included in the album booklet are photos of Minaj splashing in the paint. Track 23 on the Deluxe version titled, “Press Conference” is making a lot of noise in the blogosphere. On the track, which is actually an interview led by radio/television personality Charlamagne Tha God, Minaj addresses the issues of her not reppin her hometown “New York” and not getting the proper love. Below is a snippet:

Charlamagne: Let’s talk about New York City. I actually get in arguments because people say Nicki doesn’t rep New York. I say ‘What do you mean, she shouts it out all of the time’?

Nicki Minaj: Y’all don’t want me to rep y’all. Ya’ll don’t hear when I rep ya’ll cause ya’ll be d–kriding everybody else.

Do you feel you get the proper love from New York?

Hell F-cking no.

I never understood that because you ran the same circuits of all these other rappers. You came up on mixtapes like everyone else

I was selling my mixtape out of my muthaf-cking BMW out on Jamaican muthaf- Avenue to Amadue and Hussaine and all them. F-ck you n—as! You n—as don’t know the half of what I’ve been through!!!

What do you say to people who say you’re trying to be something that you’re not like Lady Gaga or Madonna and you’re doing things for shock value?
Well, I don’t know. In a minute if I f*cking sit down and piss they’re going to tell me I can’t do that cause another b*tch did it. [Safaree: Stupid azz bitches! People compare her to everybody. Nicki gets it so hard! ]

Charlamagne: I think when they don’t understand something they have to compare it to something to make themselves feel comfortable
Absolutely, I always say that. For their minds to interpret it they have to draw a comparison and I always say even though it’s very common it’s just a more simple-minded approach as opposed to looking at every situation as if it’s the first time. It is what it is but even she gets compared to Madonna and it’s a never-ending cycle but I rather you compare me to someone who is winning and that’s won then compare me to
 [Charlamagne: someone who is washed].

Be sure to go and buy Minaj’s new album, Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded tomorrow (April 3). The disc has collaborations with Lil Wayne, Drake, Chris Brown, 2 Chainz, Rick Ross and others.
