Yesterday morning (Wednesday (February 29), rumors hit the Internet and I also posted that former Byrdgang/Dipset rapper Max B‚Äôs¬†appeal has been denied according to the CEO of his record label. As I reported,¬†DJ Next¬†of¬†Amalgam Digital¬†tweeted the news, Tuesday (February 28). Those rumors were officially false. Somehow¬†there was a miscommunication¬†which resulted in that information being incorrect. Max-B’s good friend French Montana spoke to him last light and confirmed that those rumors were false. Peep Montana’s tweet below:

Max also forwarded a statement to AllHipHop.com in regards to the issue.¬†‚ÄúThis was just a test from God. A battle cry..a call to arms,‚ÄĚ Max B. told AllHipHop.com. ‚ÄúI‚Äôm bullet proof. And I‚Äôm coming out on my grown man s**t.‚ÄĚ

In 2009, Max-B, born Charly Wingate, was Convicted of felony murder, aggravated manslaughter, kidnapping, armed robbery and conspiracy. The charges are tied to a 2006 botched robbery attempt of two men in a Fort Lee, New Jersey Holiday Inn. He was sentenced to 75-years in prison. Max-B will be releasing his autobiography The Wavy Baby, later this year. In his upcoming memoir, Max-B will discuss his life, growing up in Harlem, and personal relationship with Jim Jones and Chrissy.
