Making Music In The Trap: A T.I. & Young Jeezy Collaboration Album Is In The Works
Atlanta’s rapper T.I. recently did an interview with L.A.’s radio station Power 106 (via LA Leakers), he spoke on the possibility of a collaboration album with Young Jeezy, T.I. and Tiny: The Family Hustle and his upcoming album, entitled Trouble Man. Read some excerpts:
On doing a collaboration album with Young Jeezy.
âJeezy and I, we have discussed doing a collaborative album. Right now, weâre both focused on putting Atlanta back on top where we once knew it to be,â said T.I.â In my absence, Iâve seen the city take a backseat, if you will, to other areas and other regions. Iâm not trying to sleight nobodyâs efforts or nobodyâs contributions to the game, but I know what my city represents and I know what my cityâs capable of. And if I feel like weâre not living up to our full potential, Iâm going to gather all the cats who I know who supposed to ride for the town like I ride and we gonâ get it back right. So thatâs what we focused on right now. After we do that, then we can focus on anything else. But first is first.â
T.I. also confirmed that his VH1 docu-style show T.I. and Tiny: The Family Hustle has been renewed for a second season.
âI just signed a deal for the second season of The Family Hustle, so there will be a season two officially,â he said.
On his upcoming album Trouble Man.
âThe album Trouble Man. Iâm continuing to work. Iâm trying to bridge the gap between giving cats Trap Muzik and the âLive Your Lifeââs and âWhatever You Likeââs from Paper Trail. Thatâs where Iâm at. But thatâs an excellent problem to have.â
