Sneaker Me Dope: Wale Rocking Nike LeBron 9 “China”

Last Wednesday (November 2), MMG rapper Wale had been spotted rocking a pair of Nike LeBron 9 “China” at his album release concert at the Highline Ballroom in NYC. The event was sponsored by New York’s radio station Hot 97 and Myspace. Guest appearances included Rick Ross, Meek Mill, Ne-Yo, Miguel, French Montana, Gucci Pucci and more. Everyone with the exception of Ross performed at the event. Ross is still recovering from his two seizures he suffered three weeks ago. Wale’s album Ambition is expected to debut in the top 5 on Billboard 200. His early predictions are between 170-200k.

This sneaker is “decked out in bright Neptune Blue, with Total Orange accenting the Swoosh logos, pull-tab and newly designed LeBron logo on the heel. A fire-breathing dragon graphic is sublimated on the tongue, while a flame appears on the pull-tab to further carry out the theme. Adding the finishing touches below is a blue 180-Max Air bag and translucent rubber outsole.”-Sole Collector
