So far, this has been a great year for Frank Ocean. He produced songs for Beyonc√©, Jay-Z, Kanye West and graced the cover of Issue # 75¬†Fader¬†magazine. Earlier in the week, Frank Ocean¬†stopped by New York’s¬†Hot 97¬†to converse with Angie Martinez. During the interview, Frank Ocean talked about working with Jay-Z, Kanye West, meeting¬†Beyonc√©¬†and¬†Tyler, the Creator’s Twitter beefs.

On being nervous when he met Jay-Z for the first time.

[In]the initial walk in… he wasn’t saying anything and I was nervous, but as soon as we started talking, he’s super cool,” Ocean told Angie. “I think he was trying to make me nervous, make me sweat. It seemed a little intentional, but it was all good. We were laughing within minutes.”

On meeting Beyoncé.

Ocean said walking into the Watch the Throne¬†session was like walking into a “heavy room,” as Jay-Z, Kanye’, Beyonc√©’ and others were there. When Martinez asked if he was “checking Beyonc√© out,” he replied, “I said hello and greeted her as I greeted everyone else.”

On his bandmate Tyler, the Creator Twitter beefs.

I definitely won’t go on the record and say that I latch on to every beef or confrontation or scuffle that Tyler gets into,” Ocean told Martinez. “Maybe in the street, but in the Matrix, or the Internet, I can’t keep up with that.”
