This past Wednesday (August 31), I reported that rapper T.I. was released from prison after serving an 11-month sentence for a parole violation after an L.A. drug arrest. He was immediately sent to a Halfway in Georgia. Yesterday Thursday (September 1), stories published on the Interweb, stating that T.I. was moved to the federal Penitentiary in Atlanta. T.I.’s attorney, Steve Sadow, told The Associated Press late Thursday that federal officials moved T.I. because of an issue involving his transportation to Atlanta. He arrived to Atlanta from a prison in Arkansas in a million dollar tour bus. I’m assuming T.I. was supposed to arrive in a prison car.

According to TMZ.com, “T.I. will not be allowed to tape his new VH1 reality show inside the walls of the halfway house where he’s serving the remainder of his sentence,” a rep for the facility tells TMZ.

TMZ added, “Cameras were rolling from the minute T.I. was released from an Arkansas prison Wednesday, capturing his journey from AR to the Dismas Charities halfway house in Atlanta.”

I’ am also hearing that the Feds did not know anything about T.I. filming a reality show with VH1. It really didn’t make any sense for VH1 to put out a press release about T.I. filming a reality show before he was even back in ATL. Smh!

Sandra Rose is reporting, According to the bureau of prisons website, T.I. is incarcerated at the U.S. federal prison in Atlanta and his new release date is September 29. So it looks like he will do all of his halfway house time locked up.
