Growing up in the NYC area and being one of the most prominent Hip-Hop bloggers and journalists, I’ve gotten the chance to visit some of the best places in New York City. I also interviewed platinum and gold-selling artists and been to some of the dopest concerts in the city. I decided to share some of my favorite stores, clubs and restaurants in New York City. R

1. Atmos

In my opinion, Atmos is the dopest sneaker store in Harlem. I always go there to get the newest and most exclusive sneakers. Whenever I go there, I leave with about 3 pair of sneakers. True story, my sneaker collection is about two stories. They’re located on 125th Street.

2. Dallas BBQ’s

I’ve been eating at BBQ’s since I was a little kid. My family and I used to and still take the train to Manhattan from South Jersey, just to eat at BBQ’s. They’re located right in the heart of Time Square on 42nd Street. There’s is also another one location on 23rd and 8th Ave. Their hot wings are the BEST!

3. Harlem Clothing Store

This is a dope shopping store. Whenever I am on a budget or don’t have enough money to shop at True Religion or Saks 5th Ave, I go to Harlem Clothing. They’re located on 143rd and Broadway. For about 5 years, I’ve been short-changing the owner. Lol. He’s mad cool and always look me out.

4. Webster Hall Nightclub

After a long week of work, it’s only right to go party and buy out the bar. This club has four massive floors to party. They’re Located on 125th East 11th Street in Manhattan.

5. B.B. King Blues

Hands down, B.B. King Blues is one of the best places for artists to perform. Every time I go there, I feel like it’s definitely the right place for Hip-Hop. Mostly ever artist who performed in NYC took the stage at B.B. King Blues.
