Breaking News: Jay-Z’s Former Artist Tru Life Sentenced To Eight Years In Prison

Earlier today, Wednesday (February 23) Former Roc-La-Familia artist Tru Life was sentenced to eight years in prison for his role in the stabbing death of Christopher Guerrero following an altercation that also included his brother Marcus Rosado, back in 2009. Marcus Rosado, who also plead guilty will be serving 10 years. Tru Life pleaded guilty to manslaughter charges.

Below is a statement from their lawyer Alan A. Ambramson:

“Robert and Marcus Rosado accepted responsibility today for their role in the tragic incident that occurred in June 2009. They wish to express their deepest sympathies to the Guerrero family and they hope that by accepting responsibility he can bring some measure of closure to the family.”
