UNITED KINGDOM — The September 2020 issues are now arriving on the Internet and newsstands around the globe. Magazines are bringing their A-game with eye-catching covers and statement-making editorials. Some issues even weigh more than a pound and has over hundreds of pages.

The September issue is the most important and biggest issue of the year for fashion publications. Candy Pratts Prince once said, “September is the January in fashion.” September’s fall fashion issues hold a lot of weight and most luxury houses spend the most amount of advertising dollars in this particular issue.

Actress, producer and director Kerry Washington covers the September 2020 issue of Town & Country (See it here) and Rihanna covers Harper’s Bazaar September 2020 issue (see it here).

Next up are Marcus Rashford & Adwoa Aboah!

They lead an inspiring army of activists on the cover of the September 2020 issue of Edward Enninful‘s British Vogue.

The British editor said, “I knew instantly and deeply believed in what British Vogue’s interpretation needed to be – an ode to the extraordinary voices, old and young, who in this difficult year have devoted their energies to fighting for a fairer society”.

And so, on the publication’s special fold-out September cover, you will find 20 inspirational faces: from spearhead campaigners for the Black Lives Matter movement, such as Patrisse Cullors; leading young feminists and anti-racism activists, such as Tamika D. Mallory; as well as straight-up legends such as Prof Angela Davis and the incredible Alice Wong. There are also those – the model Joan Smalls and the actor Jesse Williams, for instance – who have used their platforms to effect change in their own industries, often risking censure and derision in the process.
