CHARLOTTE, NORTH CAROLINA — Last weekend, multi-platinum recording artist Meek Mill performed during the 2019 NBA All-Star game.

For the sports event, the rapper took the main stage in an eye-catching yellow jacket. Meek‘s outerwear of choice was a yellow graffitied jacket from Virgil Abloh‘s Off-White Fall 2019 Menswear collection.

Last month (January 2019), this jacket was modeled on the runway during Off-White‘s Fall 2019 show at Paris Fashion Week, but was the design inspired or stolen from an indie streetwear label? The yellow graffitied ensemble could’ve been inspired by or stolen from Cologne-based @colrsbaby by @punkzec, who showed his AW18 collection at Arise Fashion Week in Lagos in April 2018.

It could be a coincidence, but it also been reported (NOT by us) that Virgil has been known to swipe designs from the fans he meets, some of who happen to be young creatives themselves. Interestingly enough, @punkzec met Virgil prior to one of his presentations in Paris in 2017.
