Last month, DM Fashion Book reported that after six years, creative director Clare Waight Keller is exiting Chloé. The British designer will make her exit after showing the brand’s Fall/Winter 2017 collection in the City of Lights during Paris Fashion Week on March 2 (see it here).

Chloé plans to celebrate the designer, with an after-party on the evening of her last show.

It is now being reported that Waight Keller is reportedly in talks with Givenchy for the creative director role, according to Paris sources.

We recently reported that Virgil Abloh, who is also the man behind the Off-White label, and is Kanye West‘s creative director was rumored to be Riccardo Tisci‘s successor at the French house (see it here). However, that rumor wasn’t true. We updated our originally story saying “Givenchy’s new creative organization will be communicated shortly. Mr. Abloh was not approached by the house and is not to join the organization” (see it here).

Earlier this month, we officially confirmed that Riccardo Tisci has exited the French house Givenchy, after 12 years at the helm (see it here). His last collections were the Fall/Winter 2017 Men’s and Fall 2017 Couture, which was shown last month (see it here).

A couple of days after we reported that Tisci has exited Givenchy, we reported that sources said Versace is zeroing in on a signature with Tisci, even as the company reiterated that it does not comment on rumors. Versace is making final tweaks to its organization to welcome the 42-year-old designer (see it here).
