Alexander McQueen Is Returning To London Fashion Week For Fall 2016 Show

Alexander McQueen is returning to London Fashion Week in February for its Fall 2016 show, according to the London Fashion Week schedule released by the British Fashion Council.
The British luxury label, owed by Kering will show its Fall 2016 collection on Sunday, February 21 at 7 p.m. The location change is temporary for one season.
Early in his career, the late McQueen showed in London and was the season’s biggest draws for the London fashion scene. The luxury house has been showing in Paris since the Spring 2012 collection, after McQueen partnered with the Gucci Group.
McQueen is launching a special product in London around the time of the show. The company declined to provide further details.
Mulberry is returning to the London Fashion Week catwalk for the first time since Emma Hill‘s departure in 2013. This is also the first time that new creative director John Coca will show his collection for the brand. The show is scheduled to take place on February 21 at 4 p.m.
Footwear designer Charlotte Olympia, who normally presents in Paris, will also be making her catwalk debut in the first day of London Fashion Week, which runs from Feb 19-23.
WWD reports, “New names have been added to the calendar, including Alice Archer and Steven Tai while Marta Jakubowski will be hosting her first presentation, as part of Topshop’s NewGen program, which is also supporting Claire Barrow, Ashley Williams, Faustine Steinmetz and Danielle Romeril.”
“Christopher Raeburn, meanwhile, will stage a presentation with Woolmark instead of a runway show and that date has yet to be confirmed.”
