Black Friday: Rihanna Is Releasing Her New Album, ‘ANTI’ The Day After Thanksgiving
donbleek.com recently reported that Roc Nation‘s popstar Rihanna has inked a $25 million deal with South Korean electronics giant Samsung (see it here). Her partnership with Samsung includes sponsorship of ANTI and her upcoming tour. Samsung plans to use Rihanna to help promote its Galaxy line of products and wants exclusive use of Rihanna-related video content for its Milk Music app.
Late last night Riri kicked off her ANTI campaign by launching the website ANTIdiaRY, in anticipation of the project. The website officially launch this Sunday (November 22) at 8 p.m. EST, to coincide with the American Music Awards.
This is a mobile push, so accessing the site via your computer is possible, but the welcome page asks you to hit the website via your smartphone. Once you sign up, a message reading “You’ll know when it’s time” appears. But that’s for iPhone users. Those with a Samsung device get to see a short (albeit rad) teaser video.
Rihanna recently shot a video for a new song in Los Angeles, which had her wearing a custom latex catsuit.
Riri‘s forthcoming LP, ANTI arrives on Black Friday, 11/27 and available exclusively on TIDAL for a week before hitting stores and other digital retailers on Dec. 4.
