Yes, fashion entrepreneuress and businesswoman Victoria Beckham was spotted meeting with Pierre-Yves Russel, chief executive of the LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton Fashion Group, but the LVMH has not brought a stake in her brand, nor is Beckham selling it (at the current moment).
According to The New York Times, “The official word from Pierre-Yves Roussel, which is where the Beckham brand would fall if it were bought by the conglomerate, is ‘No, we haven’t.’”
A spokeswoman for Beckham said “We can confirm there are no current plans to sell any part of the business.”
The spokeswoman said “current” which means a plan to sell the brand or a stake in the future could possibly happen.
Executives, designers and brands meet together quite often. It doesn’t necessary mean that the meeting is about producing a sale.
Sales almost doubled from 2012 to 2013, to 30.39 million pounds ($47.4 million) from £15.76 million pounds.
